* Indications: Active duodenal ulcer. Gastric ulcer. Erosive oesophagitis. Pathological hypersecretory conditions including Zollinger Ellison Syndrome.* Contraindications: Zollipak is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lanzoprazole.* Use during pregnancy & lactation: There are no adequate well-controlled studies on pregnant women. This drug should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Because of the potential for serious adverse reactions in nursing infants from lanzoprazole, a decision should be made whether to discontinue nursing, or to discontinue the drug taking into account the importance of the drug to the mother.* Dosage: Duodenal ulcer: one capsule (30 mg) daily for 4 weeks. Benign gastric ulcer: one capsule (30 mg) daily for 4-6 weeks. Erosive oesophagitis: one capsule (30 mg) daily for up to 8 weeks. The continuous dose is one capsule (15 mg) once daily. Pathological hypersecretory conditions including Zollinger Ellison Syndrome: The recommended adult oral starting dose is 60 mg (2 capsules 30 mg) once daily. Dosage up to 90 mg (3 capsules 30 mg) 2 times daily is administered. Daily dosages of greater than 120 mg should be administered in divided doses.
